For students to grasp the concepts of advanced mathematics, they must have a complete mastery of the basics. Often, concepts, facts and formulas are memorized, but the purpose behind them isn't well understood.

Helping students learn math

To help students understand, Oxford begins by teaching the ideas of math in a concrete way. We move from tangible facts through the abstract concepts of math. We ensure mastery through timed challenges and drills, combined with careful individual tracking. Logic, reasoning and the ability to apply the well-understood principles develop as students progress.
