My son has hated school since the 5th grade. His grades have reflected his attitude. This summer he went to Oxford to prepare for his Freshman year, in hopes that he could get in control of his grades. Attention and motivation have always been his downfall. On the first day of school he came home a new child! He talked about his day, told me he even raised his hand in several classes, one in which he even corrected his teacher! I believe this is what Oxford meant when they said they could teach him to have an "active mind". Thank you Oxford!
