i love sleep. as a university student i am really sad about how little of it i get. and i can actually tell that i learn and absorb far less when i have had very little sleep. also, i’m pretty sure coffee doesn’t really help with the learning and absorbing. it helps keep your eyes open so you can pay attention, but i don’t think it helps in your brain. just what i think from my experience.

Hey i’m a person that suffers terrible lack of sleep. I kind of already knew this stuff, but I’m glad I’ve found out that every hour of sleep you lose lowers your marks. Wow! That’s one thing I didn’t know! Yet, can coffee help that? Does anyone know?

1 year is 2 years cognitive growth? Wow, so is the correlation that strong between number of hours slept vs. marks? Trust me, at my school we’ve got loads of kids running on 3-5 hours of sleep who have 90+ avg. (ie. grade 12 students trying to get those marks for university...)
