Onsite School Programs

Pope John XXIII – Oxford Learning will provide three different programs for your students this year at Pope John XXIII. Power Reading and Power Math are both classes that will be offered throughout the school year. Power Math builds computational math and problem-solving skills. We provide individualized attention with a combination of curriculum and educational games. Power Reading gives explicit instruction in letter-sound relationships, word recognition skills, and reading comprehension strategies. Study Skills Boot Camp will be offered in the fall only and is geared toward 4th and 5th grade students who need help organizing school work and want to become strong students. HSPT Prep – will be offered beginning in October. This class is for 8th grade students who will be taking the High School Placement Test for Notre Dame or Brophy admission. Students will take pre and post tests, learn test taking strategies, and engage in admission interview role play.

Scottsdale School Districts – Power Reading, Power Math, and The Handwriting Academy are courses designed to help your students succeed in school. You can register online or call our office where we will be happy to answer your individual questions.

Fountain Hills Unified School District – Our programs in Fountain Hills are offered at the Fountain Hills High School, in the Southwest corner of the high school campus. We have a variety of programs including Study Squad, Power Reading, Power Math, and The Handwriting Academy. Call for more information including days and times.
