Little Readers Teacher - Victoria, BC

Oxford Learning Victoria is seeking an Early Childhood Educator who is an enthusiastic, passionate, fun-loving, and energetic team player who enjoys working with preschoolers aged 3-6 years!

The Little Readers Program is a half-day early literacy program, which develops cognitive skills and fosters a love for learning. Oxford Learning's enriched academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, music as well as weekly science and craft activities. We make learning FUN! Children work in small groups and enjoy a balance of activities and play in a structured environment. Our program offers an enriched academic curriculum to create a solid foundation for learning.

Our Little Readers Instructors

• Build intrinsic motivation in our students and make it matter.
• Establish a fun learning environment.
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude!

We require:

• Early Childhood Education diploma and/or Bachelor of Elementary Education with an ECE focus or relevant experience in a Montessori or preschool setting
• An individual who is professional, and willing to learn and teach within the Oxford Learning philosophy
• Creativity, and an eagerness to learn.
• An ability to organize and multi task
• Someone who loves working with pre-school children
• Strong English language skills, including written and oral communication
• A current criminal record check and a First Aid certificate
• Flexibility in availability including daytime and early evening if needed
