The Oxford Little Readers program has been a great opportunity for my son not only improve his language skills but to gain confidence in his ability to communicate.
Initially, we were very concerned as our son did not speak much and the words he did speak were not coherent. At the age of 3 we took him to a speech therapist who helped him to learn how to make certain sounds to help him with his verbal communication. The speech therapist also recommend that we have him attend the Oxford program for two reasons, one to help him continue to improve his verbal skills and second to help him gain confidence in his communication skills. Within 6 months we saw both these skills vastly improve. Being able to communicate his needs has made him a more outgoing and sociable child without the anxiety and frustrations he had before. Oxford has truly affected his life in positive way.

Before my daughter started with Oxford Learning Center, homework was a struggle. She had lost much of her self-confidence with her ability to succeed and she had very little interest in learning. Her reading, writing, and math were approximately 2 grade levels below her current grade and now in just 6 short months she is reading, writing and doing math at 1-2 grade levels above her current grade. Now she loves school, her self-confidence has improved immensely and she takes a key interest in her education. Thank you Oxford, for re-igniting my daughter’s desire to learn.

Before starting my son at Oxford, he was struggling with several core subjects. Homework was such a hassle and stress for us.
