I am an NNEB and AMI trained Montessori teacher and I have been working with children of all ages since I can remember. It was a passion and desire that I knew I yearned to do. The joy of working with children is an inspirational thing. I realized that if I could make a small difference in this big world then working with the next generation was my path.
To see a child’s love of learning alight is an honour and privilege and also very humbling. That is how I found teaching, and have never looked back.
We discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.
“There is in every child a painstaking teacher, so skilful that he obtains identical results in all children in all parts of the world. The only language men ever speak perfectly is the one they learn in babyhood, when no one can teach them anything!”
- Maria Montessori

“Do not train children to learning by force and harshness, but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.”
