Joining Oxford Learning as a high school teacher in 2004 allowed me to tap into the passion I had always wanted to fulfill; to sincerely be a source of energy for students that want to reach their full potential. The heartfelt gratitude of my students and enjoyment of seeing them succeed has made me a lifelong educator. As a student I always knew that potential is only met when the right tools are provided. At Oxford Learning I am able to help each of our students gain the knowledge and confidence to thrive academically. Through the completion of my Bachelors in Commerce Management from the Ted Rogers School of Business at Ryerson University, I now have the ability to lead our team and help our families see their children grow.

Little Readers Coordinator
As the Little Readers teacher, each day brings new moments of success and greater satisfaction in seeing the “eureka” moments on our students faces. After graduating from York University with a major in Sociology I went on to pursue a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Sheridan College. This combination of knowledge about the structures of social & childhood development allow me to learn more about myself and our students everyday. By working in both the public school system and other private childcare institutions, I have realized that Oxford Learning is what gives me the ability to cultivate my knowledge. In providing a fun & playful environment for our students, we are able to nurture their development. Past experiences have influenced my belief that as a teacher, my role is to motivate and provide a positive influence for children and to create a love for learning.
