Our High School Advantage Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum (including Advanced Functions, Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus, Chemistry, Biology and Physics)
  • Strong English language oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Good standing certified teacher
  • Experience in either teaching or tutoring

Interested candidates must be available 2-4 evenings a week from 3-8pm at least until the end of June 2011. Only candidates who meet our competency requirements will be contacted.

The successful candidate is enthusiastic, articulate and a creative teacher who communicates with ease and confidence. You offer a learning community that allows different learners to thrive and prosper. You are comfortable engaging in innovative and diverse programming. You are a critical thinker who demonstrates initiative, integrity and attention to detail.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
