Necessary Skills

Needed Immediately - Early Childhood Educator - Oakville, ON

Registered Early Childhood Educator needed for licensed education program, must be creative, energetic and always positive.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Willingness to see potential in each and every child
• Dedication to fostering enriched learning
• RECE with a minimum of 1 year experience with children aged 31 months through 6 years
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to children, parents, staff and school personnel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn and train for higher student academic programming
• Ability to work flexible shifts including possible evenings and weekends
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the DNA, Operating Criteria and provincial licensing standards.
• Strong programming skills following children's needs, incorporating active learning, anti bias.
• Holds current first aid and CPR certification.
• Employees must provide a clear health assessment, including TB test.
• Current criminal reference check needed.
• Ability to speak French is an asset.
