Oxford’s Signature Programs

Core (Grades 1-8) and Advantage (Grades 9 - 12)

Oxford’s premium programs are for those who need to make significant gains this summer. Do you want to catch up or get ahead for September? Let our staff of education specialists assess your child and carefully plan a program tailored specifically to your child’s cognitive and academic needs. Make this the summer that everything changed - for good.

Program Hours:

We offer flexible class schedules to help accommodate for busy summer schedules. Choose any days:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Oxford Academic Camps - Ages 6 to 13

Who says learning can’t be fun? Your children will enjoy coming to Oxford camps because they will build confidence and a positive attitude about learning while they participate in a variety of exciting activities and make new friends. You will feel good about sending them because you know that they will keep an active mind over the summer and develop new skills which will prepare them for a successful return to school in September.

Writers’ Workshop

In this program, children will work on developing strong writing skills while preparing stories and other written works to present and share. Areas covered include sentence and paragraph structure, ideas and details, reading and reading response, critical reading, reading comprehension and creative writing. Let your child experience how much fun writing can be!

Math Camp

In this FUN math program, children will develop their math skills and learn that everyone can be good at math! In addition to a personalized math program to fill skill gaps, we show children the practical side of how math is used in everyday life through games and activities.

Enrichment Camp

This enrichment camp combines reading, writing and math programs to develop academic skills and prepare children for the next grade level. Areas covered include critical reading and reading comprehension, creative writing and a math preview of what’s to come in September. This program will challenge young minds to keep them sharp and motivated all summer long.

Schedule:

Camps run weekly beginning July 4, 2011, and ending September 2, 2011.

Times:

Half day 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon OR 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Full-day 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (includes an hour of organized sports and outdoor activities.)
