Part-time Teacher for Grades 5 to 9 - Brooklin/Whitby, ON

HELP A CHILD SUCCEED!

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate, dedicated and dynamic.

Teaching Qualifications:

• degree essential
• certified teacher advantage
• strong command of English (verbal and written)
• must be comfortable teaching Math and English up to grade 8
• must be comfortable offering homework support in a variety of different subjects
• French would be an asset

Teaching Requirements:

• must be flexible in availability ( 2 evenings, plus Saturdays)
• commit to the end of the academic year
• dynamic, energetic and outgoing personality
• highly organized, able to multi-task and think on your feet
• team spirit and effort is a must

Teaching Responsibilities:

• follow individualized programs for students
• keep record of student’s progress for monthly reports
• attend teacher meetings and workshops
