Mastery of critical reading skills is essential to success on the Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT). At Oxford Learning, we’ve prepared three unique booklets that can strengthen a student's critical reading skills.

Our trained instructors show students how to effectively take jot notes, to read for comprehension and to write a précis to clarify main ideas. We make sure the student’s work is legible so examiners can award the marks the student deserves.

Basic SAT Test-Writing Strategies

Our proprietary curriculum teaches how to set goals in an exam setting, how to keep on track under the clock and how to avoid discouragement or trap answers.

We guide students to quickly and accurately extract meaning from long and short reading passages; we make sure they avoid spelling errors which can be costly in an exam. The skills we impart will outlive the SAT test; they are skills for life.
