“My name is Tanya Ironside and I am the Little Readers teacher at Oxford Learning Centre. I graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988 and a Bachelor of Education degree in 1992. I have taught in Scotland, Nova Scotia, and Alberta. Teaching Little Readers is always fun because the students are so enthusiastic and they take great pride in their accomplishments. We smile and laugh together every day!”
“Hi my name is Tori McArthur-Cardinal and I am so pleased to be a part of the Oxford Learning Team. I have been teaching for the last 13 years and how time flies when one is learning! I graduated from the University of Alberta and have a degree as an Elementary Generalist. I am very much on board with the philosophy of Oxford Learning. I am enjoying teaching and passing knowledge on to students as they expand and broaden their horizons. The work here is varied, broad and challenging; everything I need in a job absolutely perfect for my personality! There is never an opportunity to sit idle or to be bored! I am looking forward to meeting everyone and especially to watch students grow in confidence, self-knowledge and independence as learners.”
"Hi my name is Kelley! I have worked with Oxford Learning since it opened in 2008. I truly believe in the Oxford Learning program and it’s ability to help a child succeed. My favourite part of the day is when I learn of all the successes happening in the centre. I am originally from Grande Prairie, and earned a Bachelor of Education from the Teacher Education North program at GPRC. I enjoy traveling with my husband, camping, and spending time with family."
