Oxford Learning Markham South is looking for a dynamic and motivated Education Coordinator with strong people skills to manage our centre. Our Education Coordinator is an academic superhero: helping kids of all ages get better grades. She or he is part of a team that helps students achieve academic success. Our Coordinator must be able to work days, evenings, summer as well Saturdays and will be comprehensively trained on our systems and methodologies. The selected candidate will:
    • Be personable, friendly, out-going, creative, confident, and energetic
    • Being very assertive and be a teamplayer
    • Learn to administer our dynamic cognitive assessments
    • Create individualized programs
    • Meet regularly with parents to build professional relationships while discussing student progress
    • Teach small groups of children
    • Train and support our teaching staff on an ongoing basis
    • Greet children and parents in a friendly and professional manner
    • Meet regularly with local schools and organizations to build community awareness and promote the Oxford Learning programs
    We would like to discuss your resume with you if you meet or exceed the following criteria:
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Bachelor’s degree B.Ed (not necessary but could be a benefit)
    • Relevant teaching experience and an excitement about learning
    • Sales and management experience an asset
    • A master in multi-tasking
    • A natural leader and team motivator
    • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, passion, initiative, motivation, and resourcefulness
    • Excellent communication skills
    • A good sense of humour
    • The ability to make a kid’s day
    • Being able to take direction
    • Increase sales
    • Is able to work well on their own
    • Being an excellent supervisor
    • Math skills preferably at a higher level
    • Able to teach English to a higher level
    • Conduct meetings
    • Lots of teaching experience
    • Knowledge is written and Oral French will also be very beneficial
    • Has the ability to turn the centre around in terms of growth and increasing sales
