Hello! My name is Lauren. I am a 4th year student at Brescia University College pursuing a double major in French for Teaching and Psychology. I plan to start teachers’ college at Western in September 2023, with my goal to teach junior/intermediate French. I started working at Oxford Learning at the beginning of 2022 and since then I have had a great time learning and guiding students in their French. One of my favourite parts of Oxford Learning is working with the student to find a strategy that works best for them in their learning.
I am a very happy and welcoming person who loves to listen and get to know people. I love baking and doing arts and crafts that allow me to express my creativity. I believe that everyone has something to offer, and I am eager to listen and learn from them.

Hello! My name is Carlie and I am going into my second year of teachers college. My teachables currently are Family Studies and General Science at the Intermediate level, however I love to work with elementary too. I love to learn about Food and Nutrition, specifically looking at what we eat and how that effects our body (physically and mentally). As for Science, I have always loved learning about Biology and Chemistry and have recently took an interest in Electricity. Ever since I was little, I have taken on a leader role and have always been told I would be a great teacher.
On my spare time I like to stay active. I go for walks and on hikes with my dog Chevy. I also love to play basketball and baseball and am currently on a Co-ed team that will run throughout the summer!
I am super excited to be apart of the Oxford Learning Team. I look forward to meeting you and helping you with all your academic needs as well as getting to know you and creating that safe, positive and fun environment to learn in.
