    Oxford Learning in the Beach is looking for a full-time enthusiastic individual who is seeking a challenging and rewarding position as an Education Director. Our Education Director is an academic superhero: helping kids of all ages achieve academic success and assist in the management of the centre. The selected candidate will:
    • learn to administer cognitive assessments.
    • create individualized programs.
    • train and support our teaching staff on an ongoing basis.
    • meet regularly with parents to build professional relationships while discussing student progress.
    • Ensure that the Oxford philosophy is being maintained
    • Create a fun and energetic learning environment.
    We would like to set up an interview with you if you meet or exceed the following criteria:
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Exceptional English written and oral communication skills and an ability to communicate with parents effectively
    • Bachelor’s degree, a B.Ed (not necessary but could be a benefit) or a degree in the field of child studies or Psychology.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
    • Managerial experience
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the capacity to improvise
    • Outstanding customer service skills.

    Part-time Little Reader Teacher


    Oxford in the Beach is looking to hire a creative, enthusiastic and energetic team player that enjoys working with preschool children aged 3 - 6 years. The Little Reader Program is a half-day early literacy program which develops the foundational skills needed to learn and excel. Little Reader teachers use proprietary materials to teach students number/letter recognition, decoding skills for reading, math and build their fine motor skills. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
    • Diploma/degree in ECE, OCT or equivalent qualifications and experience
    • Experience working with children at the preschool level
    • Criminal Record Check and First Aid Certification
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational and classroom management skills
    • Outgoing and dynamic personality
    • Ability to create fun and engaging activities that encourage reading

Our High School Advantage Program offers individual support for students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
    • University Graduate with experience in either teaching or tutoring
    • Extensive knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 Math curriculum (including Advanced Functions, Linear Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus)
    • Strength in Physics and/or Chemistry and Biology based on the Ontario Curriculum
    • Strong English language oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and ability multi-task

Candidates must possess a strong background in spoken and written French and English and be comfortable teaching students from grades 1 – 12.     • Must be completely fluent in French (many parents want all instruction and teaching to be in French only)
