    High School Math & Science Teacher


    The Oxford Learning Aurora location has an opening for an upbeat, dynamic Math & Science teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed, and must be comfortable teaching students ranging in age from Grade 9 - Grade 12, in all high school strains of Science and Math. This individual should also be comfortable tutoring a few students in both English and Math from Grades 1 - 8. Teaching Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in the subject area
    • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment in Math & Science
    • Experience with the Ontario curriculum (including Advanced functions, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Data Management and Trigonometry)
    • Knowledge of Science, Chemistry and Physics an asset
    • Strong English language skills
    • Be a dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed
    • Upbeat and willing to motivate
    • Highly organized and flexible
    Interested candidates must be available a minimum of 2-4 evenings a week (4-8pm) and potentially Saturday mornings (9-12pm). A commitment to the end of the 2014/2015 school year is also required to provide consistency to our students. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students ranging in age from Kindergarten to Grade 12 French. A great candidate for this position will possess the following:
    • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment in French and/or Ontario certified teacher
    • Strong French and English language written and oral communication skills
    • Must be fluent in French

    Part-time Elementary Teachers


    The Oxford Learning Centre Aurora is looking for committed, reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with students in Grades 1-8. Our Elementary Core Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. Our students are working to develop either their reading, writing and/or math skills. A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
    • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment and/or Ontario certified teacher
    • Experience in either academic writing or published writing
    • Strong English language written and oral communication skills
    • Strong ability to organize and multi-task
    Interested candidates must be available a minimum of 2 evenings a week (4-8pm) and potentially Saturday mornings (9-12pm). A commitment to the end of the 2014/2015 school year is also required to provide consistency to our students.
