    Oxford Learning Barrie is looking for committed, reliable and FULLY BILINGUAL enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with JK-Senior aged students. Our Programs offer personalized support to students looking to develop strong learning skills utilizing proven Cognitive Development tools and methodologies. We also focus on building strong academic skills, particularly in literacy and math. A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
    • A Bachelors degree
    • A knowledge of the JK-SK curriculum and preschool learning styles and strategies
    • Classroom experience is an asset
    • Strong French and English language written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong ability to organize and multi-task
    • Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task
    • Experience with reading using phonetics in a group setting
    • Works well independently and as part of a team
    • Classroom organization, planning and time management skills
    Interested candidates must be available weekday evenings from 4-8pm and Saturdays from 9-2pm. Availability during weekday mornings and afternoons will open the opportunity for increased hours.     • Strong leadership & management skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree - related or transferrable to the education field

    • Experience in administrative tasks

    As the successful Education Director, you will report to Head Office and will be responsible to:
    • Welcome students into the centre and liaise with parents on a regular basis about their child’s progress
    • Carry out daily tasks of the centre, including, but not limited to, managing student records and attendance, scheduling staff, administrating all office duties, answering phones and emails
    • Oversee and ensure proper functioning of all programs offered
