    High School Math/Science Teacher


    Oxford Learning- Oakville South is looking for an upbeat, dynamic part-time High School Math/Science teacher who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math and Science and must be comfortable teaching students in grades 9 – 12 at all levels in both subjects. They must also be familiar with the Ontario curriculum. A great candidate for this position will possess the following skills:
    • OCT certified is preferred
    • Bachelor’s Degree or Fourth year University Students with extensive tutoring experience
    • Fluent English language written and oral communication skills
    • Must have extensive knowledge of the current grade 9-12 math and science curriculum including but not limited to Advanced Functions, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
    Teaching Requirements:
    • Must be flexible in availability
    • Dynamic, energetic and outgoing personality
    • Highly organized, and able to think on your feet
    • Friendly, personable and versatile.

    We have an opening for an upbeat, dynamic French teacher who wants to work in a challenging and rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in spoken and written French and English and be comfortable teaching up to a Grade 9 level. Ability to instruct in French an asset.
    • Undergraduate or post-secondary qualification
    • Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
    • Experience with children in a teaching or tutoring environment and/or teaching certification
