    Part-time Math and Science Teacher


    Oxford Learning in the High Park area is looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable, and dynamic teacher who is well versed in the high-school Math and Sciences curricula. If you have a passion for sharing your knowledge and love helping students achieve their full potential, we have an opportunity for you! A great candidate for this position will possess the following:
    • A dynamic, energetic, motivational personality
    • BSc required and BEd completed or in process desired
    • Teaching and/or tutoring experience
    • Working knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 Math and/or Sciences curricula
    • An understanding of the study and learning skills required for student success
    • Excellent English oral communication skills
    • French Language skills are an asset
    • Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
    • A talent for teaching and mentoring teens
    • The ability to problem solve and think critically
    • Available a few evenings a week (4pm – 7/8pm) and possibly Saturday or Sunday (9 am – 4 pm)

    Part-Time French-language Program Coordinator and Teacher


    Oxford Learning High Park is looking for a dynamic teacher to teach and assist in the coordination of our French language Program. A successful candidate must be comfortable working with children of all ages and be willing to assist with parent meetings and assessments. Requirement for a French Language Program Coordinator and Teacher include:
    • Undergraduate or post-secondary qualification, A degree in education or equivalent experience
    • Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
    • Experience with children in a teaching or tutoring environment and/or teaching certification
    • Flexible availability; able to work 2-4 evenings a week from 4-8pm as well as weekends
    • Passionate about the French language and desire to work with children

    Oxford Learning High Park is looking for is looking for a committed, reliable and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with students in Kindergarten through grade 12. Both our French and Little Reader Programs offer direct, tailored support for students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.

    A great candidate for this position will possess the following:
    • Strong written and oral communication in English and French
    • Successfully completed an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and including a series of French language classes
    • Experience in either teaching or tutoring
    • Have experience working with students from Grade 1 to grade 12
    • Have a strong background with Kindergarten aged children
    • Strong ability to organize and multi-task
      • A dedicated and passionate teacher who thrives on seeing students succeed will enjoy this role.

        Interested candidates must be available Mondays through Wednesdays 3 pm to 8pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm. A one year commitment is required.
