    Part-time Intermediate / Senior English Teacher


    We have an opening for an upbeat, dynamic part time Intermediate / Senior English teacher who wants to work in a rewarding and fast paced environment. Candidates must be confortable teaching students from grades 1 – 12. A successful candidate will have:
    • An Honours bachelor degree in English; or currently working towards it (3rd year or 4th year students will be considered)
    • Bachelor of Education is preferred
    • Must be able to teach Language and Literature confidently up the grade 12 level
    • Extensive knowledge of the current English curriculum for grade 7 – 12
    • Willing to work with students of all ages
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Strong organizational skills and multi tasking abilities
    • Experience in teaching or tutoring
    • Flexible availability
    • The ability to teach other areas is an asset
    • Team spirit
    Interested candidates must be available for 2-3 evenings a week, Monday to Thursday evenings (4-8pm, earlier start of 2:50pm is preferred) and some Saturdays. We will train you in our innovative interactive coaching methods that teach students how to learn and study more effectively. We thank all applicants in advance.     Oxford Learning Waterloo is looking for a few, new teachers for a dynamic, fun teaching environment. Teacher requirements:
    • must be available a minimum of 3 evenings per week
    • looking for one or two high school math/science teachers
    • we would love one elementary level teacher as well
    • applicants do not have to possess a bachelor of education, but a university degree is a must. 3rd and 4th year students accepted.
