    French Tutor Needed

    Oxford Learning Waterloo is looking for an upbeat, dynamic French Teacher/Tutor who wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students ranging from Gr. 2 to 11 in French. Teaching will be done in-person as well as virtually.

    A great candidate for this position will possess the following: 

    • Experience in a teaching/tutoring environment in French

    • Ability to work in an environment that yields fast-paced results

    • Strong French and English language written and oral communication skills

    • Must be fluent in French at the secondary level

    • A team player who enjoys working with others

    • Highly organized, able to multitask and think on your feet

    • Criminal record check

    • Reliable transportation

    • Must be in your final year or two of post-secondary or beyond. Compensation to match experience.

    Interested candidates must be available from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at least two evenings per week and possibly Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Are Your Kids Ready for Summer Fun?

The summer will be here before you know it! Don’t miss out on our great summer programs for kids in Grade 12. Programs contain a mix of in-class educational learning and outdoor summer activities.

Day Programs

We will be running weekly camps each week starting the week of July 11th and running until the week of August 26th. Each week will feature a fun learning theme with themes ranging from S.T.E.A.M, Coding, Robotics, and Veterinary School! Click the link below for our full schedule and program-specific information.

Brain Boost PODs Programs

Each Brain Boost POD program allows students to work in a small-group environment and learn with their peers. Sessions start at 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Subjects can include:

  • Catch up with existing material
  • Stem Activites
  • Literacy
  • French Literacy
  • Elementary Math Review
  • Study Skills
  • Get Ready for Grade 9 Math

Little Readers

Our early literacy program is also available to ages 2.5 to 6 years. The program is available in half-day and full-day options and runs from Monday to Friday. Each day will combine a mix of lessons and activities and build skills in French, music, art, science and math.

Programs run from July 4th to September 1st.
Half Day: 9:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
Full Day: 9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
