Testimonials

My kids started at Oxford Learning when they were three in the Little Readers Program. I placed my son in the program first because he had a problem gripping a crayon and printing his name. He learned to read, practiced math, print, sing, speak French, and overall, learned some social skills. Within a short while, his grip problem improved and he became better prepared for Kindergarten. I liked the early start that the Little Readers program offered that I enrolled my daughter at the same age. My kids are now 12 and 15 and are not remedial at all. I keep them enrolled in Oxford Learning for the "leg-up" when it comes to doing better in school and for the ability to learn from a personal tutor. When Covid-19 started, Oxford Learning seamlessly transitioned to online tutoring and my daughter will tell you that her zoom time with Jacob or Matthew or Laura or Alex is her favorite part of the day. I hear them getting down to work but also giggling and having fun with English and math. Imagine that, learning and having fun! Thank you, Team Oxford Learning!

We wanted to let you know how extremely pleased we are with both Laura and Robert’s academic progress since their enrolment at Oxford Learning Centre. As parents, we have always strived to support our children through a healthy and responsive home learning environment. However, despite our best efforts, there were obstacles to their success that we just couldn’t identify. Oxford Learning Centre helped us with that and put our children on the road to success. In particular, we have found the individual assessment tool utilized by your team to be the determining factor. Imagine our surprise (and relief) when you told us that our children learned differently and the approach used at home may not be reaching them. We were thrilled to learn through the assessment that we needed to tailor our approach to maximize their own personal learning styles. We are grateful that Oxford Learning Centre recognizes the uniqueness in every child, and helps to facilitate a path to success specifically tailored for each of them. As a result of Oxford Learning Centre and your committed staff, both Robert and Laura feel more confident in their ability to do their classroom work. Their academic achievements certainly reflect this. In closing, you should know that on various occasions, Robert has told us that his time at Oxford Learning Centre just happened to be the best part of his day. It doesn’t get much better than that. You should be very proud; we certainly are. Thank you for being our partner in learning. Sincerely, P & D

We have two children (ages 7 & 9) who have been attending Oxford Learning for the past 8 months and it has been a wonderful experience. Both kids are happy & eager to attend each week and we have noticed amazing improvements in all areas of learning. The owner & all staff at the center are wonderful and truly have each child's best interest at heart. We have already signed both kids up for summer sessions and will continue to enrol them at Oxford Learning each school year. We are extremely pleased with our experience and feel that it is worth every penny!

“I truly believe Taylor would have given up on school if we had not found Oxford Learning! She thinks of Oxford Learning as part of the family, I think of Oxford Learning as her guardian angels - I trusted you all with her future and each one of the Oxford Learning team has taken that personally. Thank you, thank you, thank you!” -Cindy, mother of Taylor, Gr. 11, after Taylor made Honour Roll for Grade 10

Kingston and Kingston East Joe Seney who plays for the Kingston Voyageurs: I received my results for the May SAT test this morning. I scored 1590 (Critical reading 500, Math 580, Writing 510). I just wanted to say a big thanks for all the help. In Math, I scored in the top 70%(National Percentile)...I could not have achieved this score without your help.
