Great outdoor event held at Chicopee Ski Resort. Oxford Learning Kitchener and Waterloo were major sponsors for the event. Beautiful weather and great turnout.

So excited and honoured to be covered (written about) by City Parent Magazine for a full page article. Please check your March Madness Edition of Parent City Magazine and read our article on page #17.
Very special thanks to Bob Vrbanac and Laurie Scott from Parent City Magazine.

Had a great time at W.T. Townshend Public School fun fair. Oxford Learning Kitchener South had a great opportunity to donate in face painting booth, silent auction prize and raising funds from the speech trivia questions towards W.T. Townshend Public School natural playground. Special thanks to Ms. Brown and the WTT Parent Council Committee for having us there.

Local artistic company called Artistic Interiors (Sherri-Beth Birrell @ 519-589-8550) painted this beautiful tree. This learning tree will soon be filled with individual leaves decorated by kids and as the centre grows, this tree will grow with us.
Thanks again to Artistic Interiors for bringing our Tree Of Learning to life.

What Parents & Students Are Saying

We just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you. Our daughter has only been attending Oxford for 2 months now but the changes in her are remarkable. She is definitely making gains in her reading and writing, but most importantly her confidence has skyrocketed. She does not "hate" to read any more and in fact always wants to read. She is currently reading her first real chapter book. She looks forward to going to Oxford on her days and really enjoys doing the homework. Words can not thank you enough for all that you are doing for her. Its amazing to see the changes in such a short period of time.

"Hi Mohammed, In the short time that our son has been with Oxford Learning Centre at the Bleams and Fischer Hallman Kitchener location, I can’t say enough positive things about it. Their schedule is very flexible and forgiving as my wife and I do not have the normal 9 5 Monday to Friday schedules that are usually conducive to having a set after school program schedule. If we have not been able to make an appointment with our son due to a work conflict, Oxford has worked with us to make it up on another day that works. Our son was very hesitant and reluctant to go and first, but the amazing support of the great teaching staff and director Mohammed Rauf have completely changed his outlook over the last couple of months and he now looks forward to going to his classes. Our son has always had issues with his fine motor skills such as his penmanship. We have definitely seen an improvement in his penmanship and his ability to properly grip and use his pencil while attending Oxford Learning. The centre always has a very fun, positive energy whenever we drop off and pick up our son and he is always excited to tell us what he has done and learned over the past class. Centre director Mohammed Rauf has been really great and the sit down reviews that we have had so far have been very detailed and informative and he always puts our mind at ease and shows us all of the positives that the centre is doing for our son's writing skills. We are looking forward to seeing what the next few months bring for our son and are glad that we chose Oxford Learning Centre to help focus his abilities that he wasn’t getting at his regular public school." Regards, Dad

"Hi Mohammed, I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I appreciate what Oxford has done for my son. As you recall, my son started off with a negative attitude about the program and it was a struggle to get him there. In just a few months, his attitude has completely changed and he now embraces and looks forward to attending. He is succeeding because of his wonderful teacher and your guidance. Oxford is such a positive and supportive atmosphere. His confidence has grown and he feels accepted there. He is working on challenges at his own paced and gains, whether big or small is recognized and celebrated. You have been more than accommodating to our crazy schedules and you have gone above and beyond with assisting with dealing with some of the school challenges faced. He is doing well and we have already noticed progress. We are very thankful for Oxford and all you have done to support my son and make this a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend Oxford."
