Testimonials

"When Michael first started Oxford Learning he barely knew the alphabet, writing his name was still a task, and he almost stopped speaking. His confidence was gone and didn't want to learn anymore. After 10 months at Oxford Learning he knows all his letters, sounds and numbers. He has regained confidence and wants to learn (he even wants to teach his little sister now). We are all very happy. Thanks Oxford Learning!" - Nellie

"We have had great results with Oxford Learning. We enrolled our son to provide him with extra support and to prepare him to move into secondary school. The staff is awesome and attentive and the learning environment allows for one on one attention mixed nicely with group work. The balance enabled my son to work more effectively around distractions by becoming more focused and confident in his own abilities. Several years later, although no longer at Oxford Learning, he still reaps the benefit of the foundations that were given to him there. Thanks so much!" - Sarah

"Oxford Learning Centre is more than a place for studying. The teachers genuinely care and the environment is an enjoyable one. I come to Oxford Learning on a weekly basis for two hours on Monday and Wednesday to do Physics and Chemistry, and both of those classes are much easier thanks to Oxford Learning. I have been here for two and a half years and have appreciated all the work Oxford Learning has put forth. It is my favourite spot to relax, focus, and do a pile of homework." - Eric – Grade 11

"Frustrated, bored, squashed, feeling hopeless, and basically giving up describes my son graduating from Grade 6. I was concerned for him and his future. I decided to check out Oxford Learning on the advice of a friend. He was tested and results were in and I knew they could help. From the moment I walked in I was treated with respect, and more importantly, so was my son. I decided to change schools and to use Oxford Learning to help both with my son’s confidence and with the transition to the new school environment. I was very happy and pleased to see my son grow in confidence and to love school again. His marks were great and he was able to learn and enjoy his relationship with his teachers both at school and Oxford Learning. I call Oxford Learning my son’s very own “cheer leading squad”! They inspire, direct, challenge, and celebrate every success in my son’s life. I enjoy the many conversations concerning my son’s progress. I am impressed with the workbooks and the material. It is about learning how to learn. My son is in Grade 11 now and I am very pleased with Oxford Learning and all they have taught him. I am grateful to everyone who has worked with him and helped him to be all that he is and will be. Oxford Learning has been a big part of my son’s success and they truly are his very own “cheer leading squad”! Thank you!" - Margery

"Our Oxford Learning experience has been wonderful in so many ways. Our daughter Kirsten loves every minute of it! Melissa and all the teachers and staff go out of their way to make the Oxford Learning experience rewarding and meaningful for each student. Kirsten has learned strategies that will help her in school and also in life. Kirsten loves attending classes because of the positive and caring way that the teachers approach each lesson. The reason why we choose Oxford Learning was because of the way they individually assess each students needs. Oxford Learning works with the specific needs of your child. We have been with Oxford Learning now for 3 years and thank each one of you for making a difference in Kirsten's life. Thanks so much!!" - Michelle and Dave

Just wanted to mention how wonderful the entire staff has been with my son! Always a positive environment and positive vibes! My son has been attending Oxford Learning for a few years now and has seen excellent results! Thank you again for instilling strong work habits that will carry him through every year of his schooling! 10/10

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Oxford’s programs and staff. Our youngest son had struggles with language since a toddler. We were told by many teachers that he would never catch up to his grad level and would always struggle with school. He is now in grade 8 and has proven everyone wrong. With the help of the staff and programs offered by Oxford, he is not only at grade level, but is getting A’s on his report cards. Thank you Oxford for helping James succeed academically and for helping him grow into a confident student!

Thank you Oxford Learning Kitchener! We couldn’t have done it without you! Partnering with Oxford Learning Kitchener North (Kitchener Street location) to support the educational needs of my grandson was the best investment in his transition to high school and his learning we could have made. The transition to high school is a challenging time at best but with the impact of a teacher’s strike then moving to a quadmester model with virtual instructions was a recipe for failure and a shift from Academic to Applied level of study. Oxford was able to quickly accommodate our needs, create a solid instructional plan and methodology despite COVID, and provide regular feedback on progress, challenges and opportunities. I cannot begin to list the variety and scope of successes gained through the support of Oxford but will say that mid-term and final report cards have gone from barely squeaking over the pass/fail percentage into the high 80s – low 90s. Those grades combined with the remarkable improvement in confidence have set my grandson up for future success.

We have had ongoing regular updates from teachers who work with our children to ensure that they are getting the best guidance possible. Reports cards from school are great despite this very unprecedented year and we love the individual program to ensure our children's success.

Oxford has made a tremendous difference in my son's life. I cannot thank Oxford enough. My son was struggling with school and was reading at a grade 1 level in grade 2 . He can now read at a Grade 2 level and his confidence has increased so much. I was very impressed with the way my son and I were treated at Oxford. The teachers are dedicated and truly care about the kids. Thank you to Melissa and to all the wonderful teachers at Oxford. I would recommend Oxford to any one.
Raquel
After so many years from my two children going to Oxford until their high school careers were done I honestly can say Oxford was such a great decision to enrol my children in. Now I have a 8 year old and I’ve enrolled him in and wow you can literally see the results of your children improving and getting such great help from the teachers. As well as having meetings with Melissa to see where my sons improving and his next steps! She’s been there for both my previous kids as well! I would highly recommend oxford for everyone!
