Our 20-hour Study Skills workshop helps do just that! Research has demonstrated that learning how to study more effectively boosts confidence going into tests, strengthens self-esteem and helps students become self-motivated to strive for better grades.
Kids with better study habits use their time wisely instead of passively studying hours on end.
The purpose of this program is to help children become the best version of themselves!
We have outlined below the topics to be covered in the workshop running for High School students in 2017. It’s a full 20 hours and for an investment of $500, works out to costing only $25 per hour! My name is Mrs. Hardeep and I am writing to express my deepest appreciation as well to inform you the exceptional job this location is doing.
My 3 year old son Jeremiah started Oxford Learning in June 2015, at this time he had no formal tutoring or training except what I had been teaching him at home. I had been looking for something that would stimulate his desire to learn and train him to focus. I drove by the Maple location on my way home and decided to take the step of faith and call for details. Nina called me back promptly and was so motivated (not pushy) to meet with me to discuss further. Hesitantly I went ahead with the meeting, I only say hesitantly because I am extremely reluctant when it comes to who deals with my children, as expected by most parents. But when I met with Nina the warmth of the school alone won me over. Nina was very accommodating off the bat, and I could hear the passion and care for children in her voice.
Immediately after starting with Teacher Tam my family, friends and husband saw an increased desire in our son Jay to learn. The first few sessions I sat close to the window so that I could hear the interaction between Jay and Tam. There was a chemistry between Tam and all her students! Tam is caring yet firm. She is welcoming and not to mention smart, my son had an instant liking to her.
Unfortunately due to Jay starting preschool in October we had to discontinue our time with Oxford for financial reasons. But to my amazement Jay's preschool teacher found Jay to be sharp, knowledgeable and advanced in alphabet recognition and writing. I strongly believe this is because of his time at Oxford. Although short it was enough to get him confident, and prepared for full time preschool.
Starting kids in school is an important milestone in our children's lives...thanks for being a part of it and making it so seamless. Thank you for the level of care and commitment Oxford Learning extends to parents and guardians.

Oxford Learning Maple is looking for an upbeat, dynamic part-time High School Science teacher who wants to work in a challenging and rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in science and must be comfortable and confident in teaching chemistry, physics and biology to Grades 9–12 students.
We focus on cognitive personal development and look for individuals who will honour Oxford Learning teaching methods and philosophy in a fun environment. We will train you in our innovative Interactive Coaching methods that teach students how to learn and study more effectively.
