Testimonials

Our 9 yr old son started at Oxford Learning in January to help him with his math learning. He struggled with new concepts and was more easily frustrated with the extra time and teaching we needed to do at home. Since the first assessment appointment, he has really enjoyed his time at Oxford Learning. Stepping through the front doors, he has always felt welcome and accepted. It has been a wonderful place of encouragement and fun for him as well as significantly boosting his confidence in math and also in the ever important executive functioning skills such as time management, self monitoring and task initiation. His teacher at school has already noticed an improvement in his focus and in his math marks and the whole family has noticed that homework time in the evening is much more enjoyable as we don't have to work in extra math practice. He is proud to teach us when he understands a new concept or when he completes a specific work book. We know that Oxford will likely be part of our son's learning journey for many years to come but Darcy, Jesse, Ahmed and Allison have been such a delight to work with, that we look forward to the months ahead. With much appreciation and gratefulness B & L

I wanted to take opportunity to thank Oxford Learning for all the hard work and dedication they provide. My son has always felt welcome and comfortable in the space you provide. The teachers often take the time to say something personal about the kids to the parents. I left my last meeting feeling that that the teachers really knew my child and his personality and that they had a sincere interest in helping my child to work on what he needed the most, not simply what comes next in a book. I would without a doubt recommend the center and their approach to helping each child and their different needs. A huge thank you to Andrea and Ahmed and most recently you Alison for helping John to grow and showing me just how much it is helping him to become more confident in his abilities. H.
