TWO SPECIAL PROGRAMS THIS SUMMER!
BUILD MATH SKILLS THIS SUMMER with our 20-Hour Math Program for Grades 7 to 10!
Review elementary basics or be introduced to important high school concepts with an in-depth academic analysis that identifies specific math skill gaps. Each student's 20-hour program is custom-designed to meet that student's exact needs and to fill in missing gaps. This is being offered at a special rate of $400 for 20 hours. Book and pay before June 15 to receive our Dynamic Assessment for free (approx $200 value). This program will be offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 - 11:30 and July 2-30
BUILD READING SKILLS THIS SUMMER with our Novel Studies Program for Grades 8 to 10!
This summer, we are excited to offer a novel studies program run by our OCT high school teacher. Students will read a novel frequently covered in the high school curriculum. Through in-depth discussion and written assignments, students will learn:
- to identify themes and literary devices
- to respond appropriately to short answer questions,
- to make connections with other literary texts and media
- to apply these skills to a culminating assignment due at the end of the course
This program will be offered online, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6:30 July 2-25, with the culminating assignment due the week of August 6.
