Hi Chani and Sundip, I just wanted to let you know how Lucas is doing at his new school. He has been a trooper about all the changes. He was very nervous for the first two days and then they got down to business, meaning two quizzes and a math test. I know it's still review, but I am pleased to say he got perfect on all of them. It was a great confidence booster at this still early stage. Lucas may be unsure about all the new kids, new environment, new expectations, but to hear him say "the work is easy, I already did it at Oxford Learning", is very reassuring. I want to thank you and your teachers, especially Jocelyn, for all your help preparing Lucas for the admittance requirements and giving him a leg up on the work that would be waiting for him. At a time when I was looking for help and support for my grade 3 French Immersion daughter, Oxford Learning came to the rescue. Very few tutoring services provide support for French-speaking children. York Mills Oxford Learning Centre provides a warm and caring environment for our children. I feel compelled to write about how thoroughly happy I am with the amazing team at Oxford Learning Centre. Oxford Learning stressed to my son the importance of taking responsibility for assignments, note-taking and organization. He now believes that it is possible to become a better student by fine-tuning his studying skills. It is not just about his level of intelligence but fine-tuning skills that help him become an overall good student. I think Oxford Learning stressed this in a way that related to a teenager and that is not always easy to do. I wish I would have come to the centre early in the school year. We are hoping for a strong finish but I think my son could have used this information earlier. We are looking forward to continuing working with the centre throughout the summer and into next year. I’m very happy with Oxford Learning Centre. My son's grades in math and writing improved a lot. He has more confidence in his work and he learned to better schedule and prioritize his work. David is a great teacher and he helped my son a lot during these years. Chani and Sundip (the owners) are very nice and they care a lot about the kids and their work in the Oxford Learning Centre. They are constantly checking their progress and they change/improve in requested areas. Oxford Learning has helped my son so much in transitioning into Grade 1. He is more confident, eager to learn, and overall enjoys school more. My daughter had been with Oxford Learning York Mills since January 2014 until she finished High School. It was extremely helpful for her; the support she got in math in particular, as well as chem and bio. She gained confidence and was able to approach her subjects without fear. The teachers, Kin Bon, and Betty, in particular, were great supports, as teachers and as guides when my daughter was considering her University choices. Sundip and Chani were always very accommodating and understanding with urgent requests, or for extra classes or rearranging classes. My daughter is now in University, and I will always be grateful for the support that we got from Oxford Learning York Mills.

I am currently a grade 12 student who has attended Oxford Learning for the past year. I have had Kin Bon as my teacher for Grade 11 functions and Grade 12 Advanced Functions. I have never had a teacher like Kin Bon; he is extremely clear, thorough, and patient. My grade rose from an 81 to a 90 in less than 4 months after having him as a teacher. He consistently works to find ways to simplify the material to make it more comprehensive. Whenever I don't understand a concept, he attempts to find different ways to appeal to my ability to learn such as drawing a diagram or using an analogy. Thanks to my high grades in Grade 11 Functions, I have received early acceptance to Waterloo for Bio-medical Sciences with a scholarship. The work and help he has provided is greatly appreciated. Though I will be graduating high school in a few months and attending university, I hope that Kin Bon will remain a teacher at Oxford Learning because I know any student who has him will excel in their education in the same way I did.

Our daughter has had great success over the years by attending the York Mills and Leslie branch for different disciplines. Part of the success is that she actually enjoys going there. They've helped her 'keep up' with her regular programs which can be challenging for her at times. I highly recommend this location and will continue to come here.

We have had a positive and encouraging experience with Amy in York Mills Oxford Learning Centre. Our son needed additional learning support for math, reading, and writing so we had him tested before enrolling him in their educational program. Both the directors as well as the teachers have been instrumental in our son's growth and knowledge of these subjects. And because of COVID-19, we switch to online lessons. My son liked it so much, he can’t wait every week for his lesson. It really works. The way they teach is very effective and I can see more improvement. I'm really impressed with the way they handle the online classes. I even I told my friend why the school not doing same as Oxford Learning Center. We also added French lesson for him.
