I am a mechanical engineer by education, but an educator at heart. I started tutoring when I was studying engineering at the University of Calgary and quickly realized that educating young minds and seeing them achieve their academic potential was something that I wanted to do as my career. Oxford Learning is the best place for me to be able to do that. When I am not at Oxford, you can usually find me at home reading, watching TV, or spending time with my family.

I am currently attending the University of Calgary, finishing my 5 Year Concurrent Education and English degree with a minor in Art. I have a great passion for working with students anywhere from K-12 and hope to support them during their academic journey and beyond. My passion for teaching stems from my experience as a student under the Alberta curriculum. I was fortunate enough to have many great teachers who cared for my well-being both inside and outside of the classroom and I hope to carry this on to future students.

Bonjour! My name is Riham. I’m a French instructor. I also work as an interpreter and translator. I love languages! Actually, I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in "Languages." I speak English, French and Italian. My mother tongue is Arabic. I adore teaching languages, I guess because I love to bridge between people and to facilitate communication between them. If I get some free time I love to watch movies and YouTube videos, I love to read good books or instruct myself through reading linguistic/cultural articles.
I’m happy I’m part of the Oxford Learning team, and I wish to make a difference in my students’ life!
What Parents & Students Are Saying
The Center director is wonderful. He did a thorough assessment of my children and pinpointed the areas that needed additional support as well as what they were great at. It was eye-opening for me to see how my kids learn. My two children have been attending the Sage Hill centre since it opened and they absolutely love it there. They have already learned a lot of time management skills in addition to their curriculum. I have never seen my kids more excited about homework! Thank You!
